It has been a crazy, wonderful couple of months! It was back to school, the kids birthdays, a Fantastic road trip to Paris and now it is Christmas!
We have decided to spend the holidays in Denmark this year. It may be our last Christmas here and we wanted to experience everything amazing that makes Christmas so special in Denmark!
We attended the Santa Claus parade with our good friends the Blythes (from Tasmania) and it was adorable to hear Hayden shouting "Julemnande" which is Danish for Santa! The weather was fantastic...perfect to see the lights on the Stroget lit as well as to see the majesty of the Danish folks holding hands and singing at the Christmas tree lighting! There is no snow here so the it was not picture perfect, but a great night just the same.
Ian has been travelling quite a bit and has been in Canada for three weeks over the last two months. Too long to be away, but just long enough to stock up on chocolate chips, shake and bake and goldfish! We also got our Christmas cards done at Costco!!!
In November our good friend Terry Howe came for a 24 hour visit. It was great to see him until 6 am MOnday morning when he plugged the coffee pot into the wrong socket...blowing our fuses and frying the coffee pot...it is amazing how quickly you can get used to instant coffee!
